Town & Country Paradise is a mid-century modern neighborhood in North Phoenix designed by architect Ralph Haver and developed by Fred Woodworth between 1960 and 1969. The neighborhood represents one of Haver’s later residential communities and reflects the clean desert modern style that helped define Phoenix architecture during the postwar era.

Today the neighborhood remains one of the most recognizable Ralph Haver communities, with many homes still retaining their original architectural details.

Homes in Town & Country Paradise range from approximately 1,189 to 2,835 square feet and typically feature two to four bedrooms and one to three bathrooms.

The neighborhood includes four original elevations that use two primary roofline styles. Many homes feature Haver’s signature window designs, decorative breeze block, and low-slung rooflines that emphasize horizontal desert modern forms.

Lots in the neighborhood are generously sized, typically between 8,000 and 10,000 square feet, allowing the homes to maintain a sense of openness that was central to mid-century neighborhood planning.

Town & Country Paradise is located just east of State Route 51 and north of Shea Boulevard in Phoenix. The neighborhood sits near the border of Paradise Valley and Scottsdale, giving residents convenient access to the Biltmore area, Scottsdale shopping and dining, and Central Phoenix employment centers.

Its location, architectural pedigree, and classic mid-century character make Town & Country Paradise one of the most sought-after Ralph Haver neighborhoods in North Phoenix.
