Park Central Mall was a mid mod architect all star team initially built in 1956 by Ralph Haver, Welton Becket and John Schotanus Jr. The open air mall in Midtown became a center piece to the area. When the mall expanded in 1967, none other that Al Beadle joined the party to design a two level J.C. Penny and parking structure.
The mall recently underwent renovations while preserving much of the original character.
