1011 Orange Apartments Tempe by Al Beadle

The 1011 Orange Apartments were designed by Al Beadle in 1963. The complex comprises of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom units that are 498 sqft and 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom units between 688 sqft – 762 sqft.

The two story, flat roof block buildings complete with overhangs framing the thin window design are true to Beadle. The windows in particular are seen in an almost identical application to several Beadle condominium complexes in the valley. Unfortunately the pool has been covered up, but would add great ambience to the complex as intended in Beadle’s design.
